On Tuesday 20 June 2017 I participated at the British Academy Soirée 2017 presenting a poster on health and security effects of Ebola and the government’s response to Ebola on vulnerable populations including ex-combatants and women. Combining surveys in Monrovia, interviews with health and security professionals, and focus groups, the project tracked important changes in ex-combatants’ perceptions of the security sector, as well as studied the demand for maternal health services during Ebola.
